My wife brought home her saddle to be cleaned and it was just sitting on the floor of the kitchen (where else would you put a saddle), and next to north facing window, and most importantly visible from the dining room where I tend to compute from my laptop. I couldn’t resist the patina and the lovely curves.
Shot with the EOS R on tripod, 85 mm. f1.4 IS lens at 1.4. This lens is big and heavy but I do love it shot wide open, whether for portraits or still life or in the garden. I bought it at a time before the RF 85 1.2 came out and might not have got that one anyway since the camera hasn’t got IBIS.
